Who we are
Welcome to the official website for UROC 2010! UROC stands for Uzwelo Rural Orphan Care. Our team will be traveling to Piet Retief, South Africa this summer to minister to widows, orphans and youth living in this area.
Our fund-raising goal is to bring aid to the Uzwelo Home for children, help to a small rural village devastated by HIV/AIDS and assistance in the building of a youth house to provide a safe haven in which young people can congregate.
Throughout this website you will be able to find a listing of the various fund-raising events we are hosting around the area in the coming months. You will also find contact information for further ways in which you can assist us in this effort.
Thank you for taking the time to visit us and please know that every little bit helps! All monies raised through these fund-raising events will be going directly to South Africa. Each team member is responsible for their own personal expenses.

Dinner & A Movie ~ Saturday, April 10th, 5:30 pm at Trinity Evangelical Church, Peterborough, NH. Spaghetti dinner followed by "The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency". Admission: $5/pp, $20/family, children 5 & under - free. Childcare provided.
Thank you to all who participated in this great evening. $355.00 was raised for the children in South Africa!
Mother's Day Bake Sale - Saturday, May 8th from 9 a.m. to 3 pm at the Rindge Market Basket. Gift baskets will also be offered as raffle prizes. Bless your mom and bless the children as well.
Benefit concert ~ Saturday, May 15th at Heberton Hall, Keene. 7-11pm. Mattie Mcgrail will be headlining as well as Ken Sheldon from Frost Heaves. Raffles to be held.
Memorial Day Weekend Yard Sale ~ Saturday, May 29th on Rt 202 South
Car Wash ~ Saturday, June 12th at the Wal-Mart parking lot, Rindge, NH
All funds raised will go directly to South Africa

Matthew 25:35 - 45
"For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.
Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?'
And the King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.'"

Today is EARTH DAY! We are commissioned by God to be good stewards of this beautiful planet with which He has blessed us! This includes not only the physical earth but the people who inhabit it as well. "Love one another as I have loved you." Smile at a stranger, hug a friend, tell someone how much they mean to you today!
